Summary: This amendment aims to codify what has already been occurring for a while by consolidating responsibility for the administration of citizenship oaths to the Monarch. This allows us to continue using our current citizenship-registration system which has been working pretty well. It also deletes a portion of the law made redundant by the Friendship Act.
